“Australien Skies”

divendres, 17/05/2019

Australien Skies is a documentary film that explores the sightings of unidentified flying objects and the people who witness them within Australia. Follow film maker Don Meers (Ghosts Of Casula, The Spirit Level) as he spends four days on a fascinating UFO road trip with controversial ufologist Damien John Nott, a photographic contactee who claims to have the biggest collection of photos and videos of unidentifed objects in the world. The film interviews witnesses and “Photgraphic Contactees” (people who alledge they receive a “feeling” as to when these objects are about to appear thus giving them time to prepare with a camera for the sighting) and examines the links between the object sightings and government involvement, social ramifications and how this high strangeness affects people who experience this phenomena on a personal level.

With over fifty previously unreleased photo and video clips of this unusual phenomena, Australien Skies attempts to answer the question- Is it possible for the average person to experience the UFO phenomena and if so…how?

Famous People Who have seen ufos

In April of 1979, Cosmonaut Victor Afanasyev lifted off from Star City to dock with the Soviet Solyut 6 space station. But while en route, something strange happened. Cosmonaut Afanasyev saw an unidentified object turn toward his craft and begin tailing it through space.

“It followed us during half of our orbit. We observed it on the light side, and when we entered the shadow side, it disappeared completely. It was an engineering structure, made from some type of metal, approximately 40 meters long with inner hulls. The object was narrow here and wider here, and inside there were openings. Some places had projections like small wings. The object stayed very close to us. We photographed it, and our photos showed it to be 23 to 28 meters away.”

In addition to photographing the UFO, Afanasyev continually reported back to Mission Control about the craft’s size, its shape and position. When the cosmonaut returned to earth he was debriefed and told never to reveal what he knew, and had his cameras and film confiscated.

James Kopf testimony

dimarts , 14/05/2019

Mr. Kopf joined the Navy in 1969 and worked in communications part of the time on the USS JFK which was carrying nuclear weapons.

In his testimony he tells how in the summer of 1979 all electronics and communications onboard the USS JFK stopped functioning when a huge glowing orange-yellow UFO hovered above.

He personally saw this pulsating UFO, as did a number of others.

Orbiting Earth

Major General Vladimir Kovalyonok, Russian Cosmonaut

Date of ufo sighting: May 5, 1981

Location of sighting: Orbiting Earth

Below is his drawing of the UFO he saw.

Famous People Who have seen ufos“For ten years I never spoke on such things. The encounter you asked me about happened on May 5, 1981, at about 6 PM, during the Saljut Mission. At that time we were over the area of South Africa, moving towards the area of the Indian ocean. I just made some gymnastic exercises, when I saw in front of me, through a porthole, an object which I could not explain. It is impossible to determine distances in Space. A small object can appear large and far away and the other way around. Sometimes a cloud of dust appears like a large object. Anyway, I saw this object and then something happened I could not explain, something impossible according to the laws of Physics. The object had this shape, elliptical, and flew with us. From a frontal view it looked like it would rotate in flight direction.

It only flew straight, but then a kind of explosion happened, very beautiful to watch, of golden light. This was the first part. Then, one or two seconds later, a second explosion followed somewhere else and two spheres appeared, golden and very beautiful.

After this explosion I just saw white smoke, then a cloud-like sphere. Before we entered the darkness, we flew through the terminator, the twilight-zone between day and night. We flew eastwards, and when we entered the darkness of the Earth shadow, I could not see them any longer. The two spheres never returned”.

Multiple pilots near Guernsey

Multiple pilots witness large object near Guernsey, U.K.
Date: April 23, 2007
Location: Guernsey, United Kingdom

Two experienced airline pilots on separate flights saw something up to a mile wide off the coast of Alderney on Monday afternoon. ‘It was a very sharp, thin yellow object with a green area. It was 2,000ft up and stationary,’ one of the pilots said. “At first, I thought it was the size of a 737. But it must have been much bigger because of how far away it was. It could have been as much as a mile wide.”

Pilot Captain Ray Bower claims to have seen a UFO in the English Channel near Alderney.

shape of the object). Log entry reads: “Unidentified object seen. Bright yellow thin,
stationary. Size of 737. 2nd object same shape seen behind first at some distance.”

UFO sightings are being investigated by the Ministry of Defence.

Two experienced airline pilots on separate flights saw something up to a mile wide off the coast of Alderney on Monday afternoon.

Surprisingly, Jersey radar equipment did not pick up the object, although an air traffic controller said he had received simultaneous reports from the Aurigny and Blue Islands pilots.

Aurigny’s Captain Ray Bowyer, 50, said he saw the strange object during a flight from Southampton.

He spotted a bright-yellow light 10 miles west of Alderney while his plane was about 30 miles from the island and at 4,000ft.

“It was a very sharp, thin yellow object with a green area. It was 2,000ft up and stationary,” he said.

“I thought it was about 10 miles away, although I later realised it was approximately 40 miles from us. At first, I thought it was the size of a 737.”

A 737 is slightly smaller than a jumbo jet.

“But it must have been much bigger because of how far away it was. It could have been as much as a mile wide.”

As he continued his approach to Alderney, Capt. Bowyer saw a second identical object further to the west.

“It was exactly the same but looked smaller because it was further away. It was closer to Guernsey.”

The sightings come days after reports that scientists have discovered outside our solar system an Earth-like planet capable of supporting extraterrestrial life.

“I can’t explain it. At first, I thought it might have been a reflection from a vinery in Guernsey, but that would have disappeared quickly. This was clearly visual for about nine minutes.”

The sightings happened at about 3 p.m. Capt. Bowyer, who has flown commercial planes for about 20 years, said he had described the objects to air traffic control and filled in an incident report.

“As I got closer to it, it became clear to me that it was tangible. I was in two minds about going towards it to have a closer look but decided against it because of the size of it. I had to think of the safety of the passengers first.”

He added that the experience had been quite scary.

“I’m certainly not saying that it was something of another world. All I’m saying is that I have never seen anything like it before in all my years of flying.”

Paul Kelly, 31, the air traffic controller who was on duty, said the Blue Islands pilot had made a similar report, but nothing had appeared on his radar.

“The pilot from Blue Islands was en route to Jersey at the same time and as he went past Sark he described an object behind him to his left,” he said.

“The description was very similar to Captain Bowyer’s and they described it as being in exactly the same place. But they were looking at it from opposite sides.”

The pilot told him the object had been 1,500 ft beneath his plane.

The Blue Islands plane was at 3,500 ft at the time so, again, both pilots placed it at the same altitude.

“If the object was stationary, our equipment would not have picked it up because the radar would have screened it out.”

Here is a transcript, word-for-word, of what Ray Bowyer said he saw,

(@38s) From my first sighting of it, which was initially 50 … maybe around 50 miles away, perhaps 40 miles away from the actual object, it appeared to be fairly small, but it must have been pretty huge. It must have been very, very much larger than I thought it was originally. I told the air traffic controller, they asked me for a size approximately. I said about the size of a 737, perhaps twice the size. But in reflection, seeing this object from about 40 miles away. It must have been very, very much bigger than that. Perhaps maybe a mile across, perhaps.

Pilot spots UFO over Guernsey & Alderney

"Mysterious" flashing lights - generic

Pilots have reported unusual foreign objects since the 1940s

A commercial airline pilot has reported seeing two unidentified flying objects in the sky near Guernsey. The bright yellow flat disc shapes, estimated to be twice the size of a Boeing 737, were spotted on Monday, 12 to 15 miles north east of the island.

Captain Ray Bowyer was flying an Aurigny plane from Southampton to Alderney when he saw the objects through binoculars.

Mr Bowyer said he was “pretty shook-up” by the sighting.

“This is not something you see every day of the week – it was pretty scary,” he said.

At first he thought it was the sun reflecting from greenhouses in Guernsey. He said the objects were bright like the sun, but did not hurt his eyes when he looked at them.

The stationary objects were also observed by other aircraft and the passengers on the plane.

Disappearing pilot

John Spencer, deputy chairman of the British UFO Research Association, said: “These types of sightings have been reported by pilots – generally accepted to be reliable and sensible observers – since the 1940s and they have excited attention to this day.

“Such light effects are often popularly thought to represent alien visitors but many UFO researchers believe they more likely represent natural, atmospheric, phenomena not yet fully understood by science.

“However, a similar encounter in 1978 over the Bass Straits in Australia, where the pilot was in radio contact with the ground throughout, resulted in the pilot never being heard from again, so these phenomena are important to study.”

This is the sort of sighting that is taken seriously and should be investigated thoroughly
Nick Pope, UFO investigator for the MOD

Nick Pope, who used to investigate UFOs for the Ministry of Defence said: “While no witnesses are infallible, pilots are trained observers and less likely than most people to misidentify something mundane.

“The MoD’s UFO case files contain several reports from civil and military pilots, some of which were correlated by radar. This is the sort of sighting that is taken seriously and should be investigated thoroughly.

“While most UFOs can be explained as misidentifications of aircraft, weather balloons, satellites and suchlike, a small percentage are more difficult to explain. This is one of the most intriguing sightings I’ve heard about in recent years.”

A current spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, said that while it does monitor air space for any unusual foreign objects which might pose a threat, they would not be carrying out an investigation in this instance.
